is paying rent 14 days late not good history to apply for fha loan?

I’ve lived in my current apartment for 2 1/2 years. I have paid my rent late several times but not 30 days late, more like 14 days or less late. i know this is poor renting but i didn’t think this could possibly cost me not getting qualified for a home. Is it true that paying your rent this late can get you disqualified for a home?

It depends who you are renting from. I don’t think a private landlord would report it the credit bureaus. A rental corporation (like a REIT; such as Aimco) may do so. Being only 14 days shouldn’t affect you at all since it was under 30 days. The worse that will happen is you’ll be charge a late fee.
Check your credit report to see if anyone reported it. Or you can ask the landlord or property manager if anyone reported it. I think you’ll be okay.

Paying your rent late doesn’t show up on your credit report so I don’t see why it would matter.
